This page explains the cookies and similar tracking technologies used on vias-digital.com. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable technologies such as local storage, pixels, and session recording scripts. In this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies".

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

a) Strictly necessary

Required for the Website to function (e.g. routing, form submission, security). These cannot be disabled.

b) Analytics & performance

• Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) , measures traffic, page views, and conversions. Cookies: _ga, _ga_*. Retention: up to 14 months. IP anonymisation enabled.
• Microsoft Clarity (provider: Microsoft Corporation) , captures anonymised session replays, clicks, scrolls, and heatmaps. Cookies: _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, SM. Retention: up to 1 year. Form fields and PII are masked by default.

c) Marketing & ABM (account-based marketing)

We may use B2B intent and account-based marketing tools to identify the company associated with a visitor's IP address (not the individual person), and to coordinate outreach via channels such as LinkedIn. These tools may set cookies or pixels and process aggregated/firmographic data. We do not run consumer retargeting ad networks on this site.

3. Legal Basis

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest. Analytics, performance, and marketing cookies are set based on your consent where required by applicable law (e.g. EU/EEA users under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR). In Switzerland, processing is based on revFADP transparency obligations and our legitimate interest, with the right to object at any time.

4. How to Control Cookies

• Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect Website functionality.
• Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Microsoft Clarity: covered by Microsoft's privacy controls , Microsoft Privacy Statement
• Do Not Track: we honour browser DNT signals where technically feasible.

5. International Transfers

Some providers listed above are based in the United States. Transfers are protected by the EU-US / Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
